Barn at Stratford dressed in Holiday Decor
The The Barn at Stratford’s gallery stage has a “forest” of Christmas Trees in wintry white with frosted branches and red bows. Dazzling lights turn the stage into a winter wonderland. Even the wagon wheels, on the original stone walls, have bright red bows for the holiday decor. Venue Manager, Connie Hoffman, has been busy creating a Holiday Decor that makes The Barn at Stratford a festive scene.
The Barn at Stratford is all dressed up in splendid holiday decor to celebrate a successful year of wonderful events in our historic barn:
- Business Meetings
- Retirement Parties
- Anniversary Parties
- Historical Society Meetings and Programs
The ancient beams remind us of times when horse drawn sleighs or carriages were the holiday transport. A time when sitting by the fire singing was the evening entertainment.
Our new Rolling Beverage Icer is trimmed for the holidays. Connie saw one that a caterer had brought and loved it’s “barn” look. Connie asked ever so nicely if he could make one for the Barn. Who could say no? It is perfect for keeping bottles and jugs nice and cold, and easily accessible.
The Barn at Stratford thanks all of our guests for making 2016 a wonderful year. We thank Garth’s Auctions for their continuing support. We most sincerely thank the Members, Contributors, Volunteers and Staff of the Delaware County Historical Society for their ceaseless support and efforts to bring this magnificent historic facility to the people of Delaware County.
