The Barn at Stratford has been busy this month with activity and new improvements. Garth’s held another of its fabled antique auctions and will return on May 31st for another Walk In Appraisal Day. We’re getting ready to Party with the first wedding of the year.
New Logo Signs on the Barn
The Barn now proudly wears new “The Barn at Stratford” logo signs facing the Stratford Road entry. When the roadwork on US23 is completed, new west facing signs will also announce The Barn at Stratford and Delaware County Historical Society .
Shedding Light on The Barn Entry
The Barn’s entry has been brightened by sunlight through the addition of a window. Inside, the entry has been decorated with oversized historic photos from the Meijer Photo collection.
Hanging Baskets of Flowers
Spring has arrived at The Barn at Stratford. Hanging baskets of flowers brighten up the barn’s east wall. At the Meeker House, the classic lamp, that lights the side entry, now boasts its own hanging basket of flowers.
Renovated Restrooms in the Barn
The renovation work on the Barn Gallery Restrooms is now complete. No longer primitive farm facilities, both rest rooms are sparkling, clean, and modern. Each facility has a marble counter and sink atop an elegant cabinet. Completing the ensemble is a generously sized framed mirror.
Party Lights for The Barn Gallery
The historic beams of The Barn’s Gallery have never looked better. They are now festooned with highlights to give a festive air.
The lights were made possible by a gift from Hilborn Insurance.
